I am a bit worried about the way our forwards hit the ball up,there just doesnt seem to be no desire to hit the line hard,to much propping and footwork before the line.can someone just hit the ball up at full pelt and try to BEND the oppositions D line and get a good play the ball and get the team going forward please.....

ps..heighno & ellis can be excused from these comments,I know its ancient history but remember how Big Dane hit the line??

That's the problem with trying to speed up the modern game. Hardly any forwards do that anymore as the emphasis is on falling forward and getting a quick play the ball.

Not many forwards these days consistently hit the ball up hard anymore, once or twice a game maybe when the opportunity arises, but thats about it.

Yeah, look at the way Penrith do it. Everytime I watch them play I think wow, imagine farah running behind that. We have the players to do the same job for us.

The thing we (and most other teams) don't understand is that u can also get a quick play the ball off a good hard run with some footwork before the line and make metres in the process.

Bryce had a couple great runs last night, only a couple but he played the first 30 odd minutes. Why???? Why not ask him to go all out for 20mins and replace him with an extra forward on the bench, what the f**k is Fitzy doing there.

Sheens obviously wants to choose his love child but FFS at least play the prick.........maybe not but that's hardly the point.

Bryce played the first 30 because of how unfit Fifita is and how lazy he becomes at the ruck when tired.

Why he was in the side over Moors I will never know. Teams have found out his running style and if he continues to plod along going sideways and fending to try and make metres his career will stall

Galloway is capable of both a good hit up and a quick play the ball when fit, coming back from another injury lay off he needs a couple more games to get back in the groove.

There is enough points in the backline and with Robbie at dummy half for us to get away with only having to contain the oppositions forward pack. As long as the commitment is there in defence and boys continue to scramble we will continue to win games.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some absolute disregard for thier own well being when our forwards hit the ball up but my concern with the Tigers is more containing the opposition as opposed to dominating them.

1--Rhino charges but seldom breaks the line although squeezes every available yard with leg drive

2--Fulton usually a good angel edge runner is being used as a light weight battering ram and isnt working

3--Flanagan-takes the ball up and props on his right foot and gets monstered every hit up

4--Payten runs good lines and has a very quick play the ball

5--Ellis, the rock, makes the hard charges into traffic

6--Galloway, slow charges and the slowest play the ball in the nrl but is on the improve

7---Gibbs seldom makes ground but goes at 100 miles an hour all day. His their to defend and he is the best in the team at that

8---Fifta-- A slow crab who has come back to the field very quickly. Still a kid but needs to work very hard on his fitness

9--Dwyer--Not getting much game time but is one player that can dent the line

10--Moors--Been good but not the bosses favorite

11 Farah has been very good and getting better at the right end of the season
