You raiders' fans are hilaroius, How monaghan and even Mclinden are of the quality of the other 4 I have no idea. Especially when Orford and Sherwin for instance are less than a year older than him, and are far, far better players.

I personally think it is good that El Masri played for Lebanon after his debut for Aus, because they are a developing nation in RL and can only be positive over there.

It was a tad ridiculous in the '99 World Cup though when pretty much every team (besides the Kiwi teams) had Aussies in them. At the time, someone from the ARL (can't remember who sorry) said these players would forfeit their right to play for Aus.. But NO! Tuquiri then plays for Aus, then Ricketson (after playing for Ireland).



On the subject of the topic, Benji lived for what? 16 years? in NZ. He is a Kiwi. He should play for them!

M Monaghan is a star of the future and will be Manlys best this year. McLinden had a great end of season last year at 7 and thats where he should be playing this year.

Manly's best means nothing. Same with McLinden. Neither are in the top 5 young halfbacks.
