OMFG, I'm in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

I can't argue with your logic if you don't use any.

Not my fault you found a nations superiority in a sport for several decades boring ...I certainly didnt.

#-oThis threads about Bennetts international record......

Right, Bennett's international record, and Anderson's. Not "Every other coach from the last umpteen years".

And I'd say finding that kind've superiority not boring is quite a fault. Competition is exciting, domination is boring. 60-0 domination is just an excuse to go out on a Friday night.

I think you have the fault.....if you couldnt appreciate the 40 point flogging we gave the poms in last years final, then your no RL fan.
That first half was just a pure RL lesson....sure competition is good, but perfection, even in a flogging ...well you just gotta marvel at it.

That was a great footballing performance under pressure in Britian. Compare that with the 50 point hiding we gave the Poms a few years back and you may see what I mean. Or not.

And Im straying from the topic? I mentioned Bennett, compared him to the other Aussie coaches, look at the thread title....Bennett & Anderson. Unlike yourself going on about 60 point thrashings.
Forum cop...look out.

So they can be great yet boring? Make your f**kin mind up. Your own views are conflicting.....schizophrenia perhaps?

Turds like you sh*t me.......you bag the Aussies for being dominant for such a long period, because they were so good and the opposition wasnt up to scratch....it wasnt exciting enough for you.
Why dont you try soccer....lots of close scores there.

So...Im supposed to answer this "question" am I???

Wheres the question???

And you call me a f**kwit.
Yes, you can get it around it that way. It's easier than backing up your claim that our crowds were sh*t from 1995-2003.

Wow, forum cop, you have SUCH an acid tongue.

*Scratches head* You're an idiot, I said it was a great performance and I could appreciate it, especially Lockyer's and Minichello's performance, I didn't say it was exciting. Compare that too a game that'd gone right down to the wire between 2 teams who are competitive against each other. Furthermore the 50 point hiding a few years ago agaiunst GB, what was to appreciate about that? It was a travesty!

Australia's performance in last years Tri Nations final was great in comparison with the rest of the series. Howveer a closer game would've been far more entertaining to watch. Not that hard to understand really.

And yes, obviously schizophrenia, Mr Angst.

Not exciting enough for a lot of people either. A LOT. Hence why International league falls far behind in comparison to other sports, and hence why it's resurgence has come at a time when other nations are finally getting their act together.

Not getting around anything....you asked me to answer a non existant question....I dont answer the question that doesnt exist and "I'm getting around it like that."

I never stated your crowds were sh*t, I merely stated our bandwagon was at the same place yours (the one you yourself admitted to) was the last few years.
Answer the question NQBoy............

Owned? Dream on.
Yes, owned...you claimed Stuart said "I can relate to the boys better".
I pointed out to you that Love in fact stated this, you then claim Stuart "said it on TV.....only thing is everything he said on TV was quoted online as well....except this statement you claim he made butI proved was in fact Colin Love.... owned.

.....youre now clarifying yourself, and yet you call me the idiot. Its obvious you didnt make yourself clear enough in the first place, one minute these performances are 'boring', the next minute "you can appreciate" them.
Your initial claim ....

....that I have a fault for enjoying the Roos wins no matter what, then going on to say re: a 40 ponit thrashing by the Roos....

A tad hypocritical imo.....maybe itd be easier for everyone if you clarified youself from the start.

Whilst I agree close games are exciting, it hasnt been the Roos fault in the past the opposition hasnt been up to par, if you expect old style hard fought Pommy/Aussie test style matches every time the Roos play PNG or France, of course youre going to be let down. Enjoy it for what it is.....unrealistic expectations always deflate.

Ok fine, let me reclarify then, I could appreciate that one hiding due to the great performances of Minichello and Lockyer, but would still rather have seen a close tough fought game. Considering that's only ONE instance, in comparison with the other floggings over the last 10 years during the downfall of the game, none of which I could appreciate because they moreso bordered on debacle, I don't really think it dents my point THAT much.

But we're now entering a period where those expectations might finally be able to be met. Knowing Australia is going to win every International series, it's like where's the excitement in that? Knowing that we can actually be beaten makes you appreciate it more when we actually do win, other than it being a foregone conclusion. Hence my original post "Yes, such a tragedy that the international game is finally interesting", obviously said somewhat with tongue in cheek. I just hope the competition lasts.
