With or desperate need with a coach - who can coach
Bennett on the outer and Brisveges and Barrett fighting for his life on the North Shore

I think it would be a good idea (I Think) to hire Bennett as before. ALSO - Hire Barrett as his assistant then the the old boy actually retires Barrett could take over.
HIs experience over a Manly and later Penrith and shown Barrett has some real potential.
With Bennett guidence (honning his skill) for 2 years I think this would be a wise investment.
... And I sure would reep Premiership success we as fan crave

Business decision 101 - Go to it Win

I would not take on Barrett. Getting old boys back to coach the team has been a disaster. I think Barrett might struggle to get another NRL gig. I would imagine he would be on money that the average Australian worker could only dream of. He has thrown it all away because Manly is not up to scratch with their training facilities. There are a lot of NRL coaches looking for a chance to coach again in the NRL that will only be too happy to take his spot. They should offer Bennett a deal too hard to resist to get him back here.

He seems to have had a great repore with every one of his players and through the Sh!tfight not a bad word has been spoken - except From Penn & Co.
His work ethic seem to be acceptional and under Bennett and his worldly experience we'd be far more consistant than these past (lets say) several years.

I wouldn't mind a 2 or 3 year deal with Bennett as head coach and Barrett as assistant, providing we can have Barrett for the rest of the season.

No to Barrett. Let him prove he’s capable of coaching at a high level first. He’s still on his L plates as far as I’m concerned, and the last thing SGI need is a third rookie coach in succession.

Bennett still ISN’T....give it a rest.

Bennett's going nowhere, he and White were sharing beers in the sheds after our win last week which is alarming considering I was reading reports where they weren't even on talking terms

I think it's been overplayed in the media mainly due to the media hammering Wayne and Wayne giving straight forward fact of the matter type answers, I don't think we'll extend him past next year though (he's almost 70 years old for goodness sake)

I agree and believe Bennett will retire at the end of next season.

Barrett is a sook, no thanks. Bennett won’t be coaching us next, the year after or any other year
