BRISBANE coach Wayne Bennett will snub today's NRL football operations conference in Coogee.

After failing to show for years, Bennett finally attended last year but will not show for this morning's meeting. The Broncos will send Clydesdales coach Mark Gee and player Michael Ennis. Brisbane claim Bennetts is on holidays.

Today's meeting will centre on all on-field issues, including rules and interpretations, with an administration conference in a fortnight. Coaches, players - including Brett Kimmorley, Danny Buderus, Matt Orford, Luke Priddis and Craig Fitzgibbon - and football managers will attend today.

Flame on all you Bennett-haters.

Good on him. Wayne knows the NRL won't listen to the fans anyway, so why bother. Discussing garbage such as dropping two players from a rugby league team shouldn't be given the time of day.

Losing minto is the basis of my prediction for the broncos missing out next year:roll:

Minto will be a massive loss. I don't know how they will recover.

No drama, as long as Bennett doesn't criticise the rules of the game at all during next season, when he hasn't participated in the chance to constructively be part of changes.

Agreed, and wouldnt that be nice....but the chances of him not whinging all year........well,Id be surprised if there wasnt plenty emanating from the big feller.

Exactly.
Every yr it seems they want to change the game.
f**k...leave the game untouched for 5 yrs.
Constant change is pathetic

I thought this is the way all broncs fans wanted it, benny to do his own thing and then attempt to dictate to the NRL on how things should be done, HIS WAY !!!!!!!!!
