Bertie bartlett?? Triple J artist and song

Heard a song on the J's this morning around 9am and it was by a band called bertie bartlett (or something similar) and the song was something like 'i will kill you' or something that had the word kill in it.

Lindsay Mcdougle was saying how everytime he has tried to see her/them that he has been playing the same night and has missed out.

Any ideas???

Dont know that song, but there is an australian artist called Bertie Blackman.Bit rocky and bluesy.
