There have been plenty of great Australian movies made over theyears with the older ones definitely the pick of the bunch.

My favourite is The Man From Snowy River closely followed by Gallipoli and Mad Max.

The Castle was ok but it's cringe worthy in parts. If an an overseas visitor saw it they would think we are all dumb f**ks like the Kerrigans.
