This would have been a great boost for tourism and would have sold out Accor.
I'm seeing people from Melbourne talking up the MCG and the decision to have the NFL there, "They just wanted to have the biggest and best" bullshit. Nah mate, Melbourne just paid more money to have it.

I was at Accor back when they brought a college game to Sydney years ago (Cali vs Hawaii). We were far enough from the ground then. I can't imagine how shit the view will be at the MCG. The closest fans will be almost 80m away from the action.
