best kickers in nrl

who do u think are the best kickers in the nrl at goal? heres myne:

1) Luke Covell
2) Hasem El Masri
3) Brett Hodgson
4) Craig Fitzgibbon
5) Clinton Schifcofske
6) Josh Hannay
7) Andrew Johns
8) Darren Lockyer
9) Mark Riddell
10) Matt Orford

Luke hasn't been the best kicker in the NRL... EVER. He was good in PL the year he kicked 94%. He hasn't been awesome of late however. Hodgo's 100% this year would suggest he is currently the best.

as in if u could have them in ure team who would u have
covell is equal to the top as a kicker just behind el masri, but as a player he is close to the best of that list so since hes close to top on both lists he is 1st

He's the best kick ever.
And the best in the NRL at the moment by far.

Hodgson 18/18 is excellent but Hasem has done this many times.

Lockyer wouldn't be in the top 30 kickers in the NRL. Newcastles 3 kickers all have a much higher percentage. Some other teams back up kickers are also much better then Lockyer.

Most people wouldn't know this but going into a game in 2003 the dogs had an injury cloud over El masri. A shoot out was arranged between Anasta and Sherwin to determine who would kick if El masri didn't play.

They were giving 24 kicks each from the sideline, 40 metres out, tricky angles and easier ones.

Sherwin kicked 24/24. Anasta kicked 23/24.

Turns out El masri played anyway.

Hidgeson has been solid this year, as has Covell.

But Hazem is the King of Goal Kicking.

canterburry have three(maybe?) great goal kickers, and brisbane have a few average ones.

covell is one of 5 players
( covell , marshall , hunt , williams , tupou ) who are the future of our games. in 5 years i have no doubts these guys will be the best 5 players in the nrl, if not the world.
you can continue to run a retirement village down at canberra , but up here at cronulla we look for future prospects

Shark Fan, I think your delusion's start with that signature of yours, Covell to even be compared with the others you bracketed him with is unbelievable. Covell could turn out good, but he still has a long way to go....
