Randy Savage VS Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 7. Savage did about 7 elbow drops at one stage and then Warrior kicked out.

Other good ones were Austin VS Rock at Wrestlemania I think 15
Bret Hart VS Austin at wrestlemania 13 ,

RVD v Lynn at N2R 99 was bloody unbelievable

ECW has had the best pure wrestling matches of all time. There can't be any argument with that

For theatrics, this is where the WWE and WCW catch up. Undertaker and Bret Hart were great entertainers.

savage vs steamboat WM3 1987.

They don't build matches up like this enough anymore. One of the best if not the best I can remember. It just didn't stop.

It was an Intercontinental Championship match. The feud between them was built up well in the previous few months. The angle was Savage crushed Steamboat’s throat with the ringside bell.

The match was pretty exciting. There were several two-counts, and not too many rest holds. Both guys are flyers and both are very decent in executing moves. The match ended with Steamboat winning the belt, with a little help from George "The Animal" Steele. Savage was on the top rope, with the bell again, and was about to nail Steamboat with it. Gerorge pushed Savage off the ropes. Savage got up and tried to bodyslam Steamboat, but got wrapped up in a small package and lost the title.

ECW as the pure wrestling promotion? I dont think so. If anyone was known for it's over the top theatrics it's ECW with it's 'hardcore' style.

WWE and to some extent WCW might of had their theatrics outside the ring but inside they have always been the place for the best pure wrestlers. People like Bret and Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, British Bulldog, HBK, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar.

Oh another great match was "The Final Four."

After Austin cheated at the 1997 Royal Rumble , they had the playoff between Undertaker , Vader , Austin and Bret Hart for the title (As Micheals forfeitted it) , and Bret Hart won after he eliminated the Undertaker finally.

It was a great match. Bret lost the title the next night to Sid.
