McCullough was average but he is young, too young to write off. Besides Baptiste is handy. Alex Glenn as well, and who knows what great kid will come through next Mitchell Frei looks the goods.

Definitely the best pack IMO.

Agree he is young though had some time now and is been behind a good pack ,he makes so many dumb choices and poor errors. I am no bronco fan but if they had a hooker like friend or ballin a good solid hooker without being a star like smith they would be so much better.

Soft as bro, thats why he always where's head gear. couldn't make the starting team in 2011 at the spooners!

Thank you for saving me time and confirming I can skip past every post you make in future. Apart from your horrendous use of the word 'where's', you've said the Warriors pack is not in the top 10. Laughable.

If we pick a pack of Lillyman,Friend,Matulino, Mannering, Ta'ai, Mateo with Rapira/Packer/Taylor (or Steve Rapira) on the bench there's few equals in the competition. Not saying it's the best, but it's top 3.

If the raiders play to their billing on paper, they'll go close to regain their spot as the games best pack after a terrible 2011. Papalii adds much need mobility to the raiders pack and id love to see Harrison recapture his form after what was honestly one of the worst seasons ive ever seen from a player in 2010.

I really like the warriors, tigers, sharks and broncos... all have well balanced packs that include work rate, strike power, grunt and flash and a lot of mobility. They are the bench marks for 2012 i think

Titans would be on par with brisbane i think as the best pack.

Bailey, Douglas, Myles (plays alot of minutes up at prop) White, James

VS

Petro, Hannant, McGuire, Anderson, Hala

Myles, Bird, Harrison, Mino

VS

Thaiday, Glenn, Parker, Gillett, Teo

again VERY close.

Also titans have the better hooker.

The only question mark over the Broncos for the 2012 season is whether their halves will deliver and if the team as a whole can cope with the void left by Lockyer. I still rate their outside backs (except for Copley) and forward pack as amongst the best in the comp. Jack Reed in particular is all class, even taking into account the fact he's a ranga.

2012 is his make or break year imo, no more Lockyer and McCullough has the talent to be the main man in terms of control of the game, he just doesnt seem to have the maturity.

needs a poll.

last year everyone rated canberra as the best pack and they ended up being statistically the worst by a fair margin and played like a bunch of skirts.

Titans still have a bunch of number crunchers that don't intimidate rivals. Idris could be developed to be that guy as could Ryan James but overall teams would not lose any sleep over that pack.

Broncos have Thaiday who can be devastating and Petero which is like tackling iron.

Broncos beats Titans pack imo. Cowboys as well.

If Heighington doesn't start over fulton i'm not here.

Fulton will start to add some ball playing skills to our starting pack rather than having 3 guys who will just tackle and run.

There's your cap blown!

True, luckily for us, Benji, Lawrence and Lote play for free out of love for the game, and 9 pay all of Beau's contract. Moltzen's contract will be paid entirely by St George.

I'll also add while people are making these comments the Dogs pack should go well next year.

Tolman & Graham both quality, Graham showed against Australia he is the goods, he was behind only the best forward in the game in Gallen for metres, hitups, tackles.

Kasiano to add some impact and won't need to play much more then 30 minutes with the starting two props both capable of 60+ minutes of quality.

Pritchard, Eastwood for some impact in both attack and defense.

Stagg might recapture the lock of the year form from few years ago looked so much better when Moore was gone. Halatau to fight it out with him and he was very good last year recaptured some form from 2005 which was great to see finally.

Taupau showed he will be something to look out for next year.

Payne showed he was pretty handy for us last year before injury.

Gavet/Browne/Finucane to finally force their way into the squad someone will. Don't know much about Gavet though hear alot of big talk.

3 guys who will tackle and run? Blair's ball playing is better then fulton without even being close. As is Ellis! He is also better in attack and defense. Heighington doesn't start then some club will throw big dollars at him and he will demand a release. Count on it. He is to good to be held out by bloody fulton.

I will start; JWH, Freind, Kennedy,Aubusson,Guerra,FPN. bench; Masoe,Takairangi,Tasi,Mitchell. depth; Bosden,Evans,Cherrington. Who has your team got?

Not bad at all. Needs a workhorse. Guerra could fit the bill. He finished off very well.

Fulton is easily a better ball player than Blair and Ellis. He has played a fair few games and parts of games at 5/8
I would start Heighinton in front of him though.
