Lance Thompson. He would not have let NSW down, like some of these so-called "superstars".

wasn't great in his last season and consistency was always an issue but I reckon Mark Riddell was built for origin footy. Would have been a great impact second rower/hooker off the bench. He always stood up in big games

three players that spring to mind are

glenn morrison- busted his frikking gut over 10 years of first grade and played city in 97, 01 and 03

preston campbell- the peoples choice, everyones favourite little man, matt bowen played well for queensland, i dont see why presto couldnt do the same, plus hes a tough little bastard as well

luke davico- same as morrison, but came agonizingly close injuring himself in camp
