Wrestlemania 17 was also my favorite.
I enjoyed nearly every match on the card and it had that special ending to the PPV :D

Was that the one with the 15 man Hardcore battle royal or whatever it was? If so then that was a great PPV, if only they made decent PPVs nowadays

I think Deano is thinking of the 13 man Time Limit hardcore battle Royal, and whoever had the belt when the time expired was the Champ. That was Wrestlemania 2000 (16).

Survivor series 98 was my fave. ive never seen a ppv where every matches outcome lead up to the big bang at the end when the rock won the championship and joined the corporation, thats when vince mcmahon was brilliant but now he has just lost the plot.

Wrestlemania 17 was definately good, but did the script writers actually think Austin was going to be accepted as the villian of the match in his own home town? Someone should've run that point by management because quite clearly it didn't work...

Not really, They wanted Austin as the face all the way through the match, just at the end they made him turn heel with the Handshake with Vince. After that he was basicalyl getting booed.
Much like he did the next night on raw that was also in Texas, when HHH and him created the " 2 Man power Trip"

I havent watched wrestling for a long time but if I know that The Rock will be on it I'll make a super valiant effort to watch it. Does anyone know when the Great One will return...?
