Of all the teenage players who are yet to play NRL, who do you think are the players with the best future?

Pick a 17-man squad of who you think are the best players coming through.

Don't include the players who have already played NRL. Israel Folau, Jarryd Hayne, Michael Jennings, Dave Taylor, Mitchell Pearce, Chris Lawrence, Chase Stanley, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Eddie Paea, Lagi Setu, Tim Grant, Patrick Ah Van, Joel Moon, Will Chambers, Eddy Pettybourne and Heka Nanai.

I don't know much about the lower grade guys, but look out for Ben Barba. He is the Doggies five-eighth and is an absolute freak. People have described him as a mix between Thurston and Bowen. He was signed from Mackay mid-season 2007 and by the end of the year, he was Fleggs top try scorer and top point scorer. He has also bulked up a lot apparently.

its always hard to know whats going on at other clubs but from a penrith side of things
Greg Waddell ...... at 16 a center that played in wining jersey flegg team
Masada isofa ....... a hooker already part of nz squad
Sam Mc kendry ...... back rower high work rate will push first grade end of year
josh Mccrone ...... half back Elliott has high on his books should ensure he gets a crack at
first grade
wade graham......... half 5/8 at 16 a real talent but may be 2009 before he arrives in first grade

just on the Parramatta side of things.

Taulima Tautai - a very solid centre who plays above his weight, can tackle but needs to work on his technique as it's got him into alot of strife at various times last year.

Tony Williams - speaking to a Parramatta official about this kid and he compared him to the closest carbon copy of a Tony Puletua as he's ever seen, a very dangerous wide runner who needs to be dealt with early or else he'll cause havoc.

Kris Keating - hotly persued by Canterbury and Melbourne last season before declaring his alliegence with Parra, he is without doubt the pick of the lot, very tough competative who can sniff out a try from nothing, reminds me of Terry Lamb and will definitely play fg next year.

Marty Lewis - extremely talented backrower with great leadership skills defends all day and will always trouble the defence.

Tim Mannah - another who will make his debut in fg at some stage arguebly the most talented front rower to come through our system since Cayless.

Anthony Mitchell - one of the key reasons why Parra decided to cut ties with PJ Marsh, this kid may not make his debut in fg until 09 but what he's capable of doing out of dummy half is amazingly Robbie Farrah like in many ways. Will join the likes of Ioseffa and Isaac Luke as the new breed of hookers that can probably give Farrah and Smith a run for their mony within 2 seasons.

Unlucky to miss out are Tu'u Maori, Joseph Tomane, Wade Graham, and Kris Keating.

How old is Russell Packer this year? He is a great player.

The strongest teams in the NYC will be Roosters, Panthers, Eels & Warriors.

I hear Lucas Miller is training with the Melbourne firstgrade squad.

He is a very tall prop with all the skills who has been a NSW rep at three age levels and has a very good coach ('Barney' Miller) for a father.

He is very lean and if he can put on 10kg of muscle he will slip right into firstgrade from game one this season.

Hot tip, look out for Alex Glenn at Brisebane

The Titans are dead set dills. The junior recruitment is terrible. Why would they let him go. What 17 / 18 yo centres do they have.

Their NYC centres will probably be Esi Tonga who they from Canterbury and Tyson Lofipo from Ipswich who is supposed to go alright. Although i've heard Alex Glenn is better than both of those. Kingi Akaoula can also play centre.

Sonny Fai and Russel Packer are the best league prospects ive seen come out of NZ in years.

Sonny Fai is going to cause some real damage. Can be at times uncontainable.

Russel packer is masively talented prop, who can score trys from 30 - 40m out.

Also keep a look out for Kevin Locke, Eddie Purcell, Meli Koliavu, Siuatongia Likiliki, Lesson Ah Mau and Rusty Bristow. All are outstanding NRL prospects.

The Warriors definetly are a club that will be getting stronger in the coming seasons
