Betfair odds

I'm relatively new to betfair but understand the concept (I think). Today I went to put a punt on nrl leading try scorer and found that everyone has odds of 1.23? I looked at leading try scorer and it's the sane issue, same with futures betting on where a team will finish.

Why is this? I could possibly understand if events were happening live, but it's midweek?

it means theres no liquidity in the market.. so far probably only 1 person has put in requested backs or lays for every player at $1.23.. if someone matches those bets he is likely to make an easy profit
