Yeah lol, one thing we should have learnt this season is to never say it can't get worse because it will.

Still though, despite it being nothing new, it's nice to see a story about the club trying to be positive for once.

Houston has recently bought a new house in Newcastle. That's a sign things could be getting worse...

Apey it could also be a sign House is looking to live here after he retires evn if he goes elsewhere. Blokes like Brett Mullins, brett Hetherington, Craig Smith and BK have all set their families up here post career. If the Tariq Sims deal starts a signing influx things will turn. The Panthers are the blueprint for changeing your fortunes. They will win the comp in the next few years if they stay the course.

House wouldn't get a contract elsewhere. He'll stay Newcastle regardless of whether he's playing or not.

They recruited shrewdly and let go their stars if they weren't playing up to the dollars they were earning. Bennett won't even drop underperforming players let alone tell them to go. They also recruited multiple players into positions of need, that is what we need to do as our depth is poor

Add Luke Davico to the list. A few Canberra faces there. Not surprised they ended up here, nicer weather for a start :)
