I liked him as a player going back to when he started at Souths-I just felt he was gifted and a clever player with the ball-and then came the ACL injuries.

However, one major concern I had was alleviated on Sunday against the dogs-loss of speed- admittedly, they're not the quickest team in the comp but when he scored that runaway try, no one made any ground on him- if anything he was running away from their quicker players. Bottom line, his value as a utility including the outside backs was on show.

So all those ACLs don't seem to have slowed him that much. Unlike Jack B whom the Tigers are welcome to.

I like that the club responded immediately to the Tigers late interest. The dollar gap now hard to ignore. Perfect storm for Doueihi. He's having a winwin week after more than a few tough years.
