Even dumber you got the derby Thunder v Sixers on Sunday in Sydney

Amateur hour scheduling from Cricket Australia, but not surprising in the slightest due to their past track record of botching things up.

Scheduling a BBL match on the same day, in the same city as a test match....pathetic!

Furthermore, both BBL Sydney derbies (January 8 and 21) are broadcast only on Fox. No FTA coverage at all.

It's bad enough for bowlers playing cricket on a ground with short boundaries...but then made 10x worse by how far the ropes have been brought in from the fence at North Sydney Oval. The rope straight down the ground is nearly 10 metres in from the fence. Seriously, are these under-16 ground dimensions or what? Whoever was responsible for this decision is really devaluing the tournament.

One of my biggest pet hates: seeing how the rope has slowly been moved further in from the fence over the past two decades. Got absolutely nothing to do with safety reasons.

Kookaburra have been making a fortune from producing sub-standard cricket balls for years.
