Lynn leaving did pave the way for Renshaw to come back. Renshaw has been so much more consistent and real match winner.

I honestly think Renshaw should be in the mix for the Aus T20 side. He won't be because the selectors have the brains of potted plants starved of water for 6 months.

If there was a T20 series coming up you would think Renshaw has to be in serious contention?

tbh though, would love him to cement a long term role in the test side (replace Warner?) with cameos for the Heat

I would think so. Also agreed on a long term spot in the test side. Warner and Khawaja are close to retirement and we need to work out some replacements. I feel Renshaw is playing a lot better now than when he made his test debut. He's shown he has a lot more gears now.

I don't know when the next international T20 series. Later in the year? Anyway I'd be giving him a game or two and see how he goes.

I get a sense internally the heat boys may be driven by the late passing of Andrew Symonds.

And doing it for Roy just a hunch he loved the Brisbane heat and always had the cap on in the comm box.

They weren't drIven by Roys passing from the first 11 rounds

Only 2 wins and dead last, playing like plonkers

I see this game coming down to the team who wins the batflip and ruffles the most feathers.

It could also come down to the team that scores the most runs. If you're not winning bat flips and ruffling feathers could you really be considered a winner? I, for one, think not.

In hindsight, the Heat have played it smart all season. They've only bothered turning up to play the last few games thus not wearing themselves out.

They could have finished third, but why do that when you get to play an extra game by finishing fifth. Get more money for playing an extra game. Now they win the bat flip and bat first.
They've now get their own feather ruffler in Spencer Johnson. It's all come together

They've tricked everyone. Will it be enough?

Tricked everyone yet again by deciding to bat first, when 6 from the last 7 matches here teams chasing have won

Heat by 20 runs
