Heat absolutely butchered that chase. 17 from 24, 5 wickets in hand, and lose.

The non-call of the waist high no-ball during the 6 was massive tbh. Free hit and Heat probably win. But that rule only seems to come in when Stoinis has a sook about getting out.

All comes down to the last game.

Stars will win as the Thunder crash out in true Thunder fashion

If only it was a top 7 finals system then both Hurricanes and Thunder could be in it and Stars would still be wooden spooners. Also we could stretch the comp through to November at least.

Anything under 130 should be a pretty doable chase, especially with some of the experienced heads in the Heat lineup. Losing Pierson and Hain in quick succession killed their chances. If either one of those two batted the game out they win easily.

I think Khawaja just isn't it for T20, neither is Marnus - they're not that attacking and kinda hold up their end.

Khawaja has actually been very good in T20, especially the years at the Thunder

I think coming from 5 back to back tests isn't ideal . Smith the only one killing it, the other test bats been very bog average. Warner is a gun t20 bat but cant get going. Head has been terrible

Lets hope the husband of Sonny Bill's Clovelly conquest and Jonah "champion" Takalua can lead the Thunder to an emphatic victory against the most hated team in the BBL.

Go Thunder!

Stoinis looks like the kind of bloke that would try to pick up your girlfriend while you're in the line at the bar or in the bathroom.

Warner and Gilkes have gone full genius to start this chase. Thunder batting lineup is just atrocious. Literally trying to make it difficult for the rest of the team.

Good BBL cameo Warner you waste of space
