Maxwell should be dominating this comp as there are a lot of plodders around. He's an international player that would walk into any world XI at t20, playing against domestic bowlers. That said, this Hurricanes bowling troop is probably the best around (although not as strong with Bean and Dr Gannon).

Today's the day where we don't actually have any games, with Hobart hosting the Sixers tomorrow for a spot in The Final, followed by Thunder hosting the Stars on Wednesday in an instant knock out. Winner will face the loser of Hobart and Sixers and the winner of that game, faces the winner of Tuesday game between Hobart and the Sixers.

As there is no game, I thought I'd have a look for some transfer info.

This is what I got;

Perth Scorchers list for BBL|15: Ashton Agar (contracted until BBL|17), Finn Allen (BBL|15), Mahli Beardman (BBL|15), Cooper Connolly (BBL|16), Aaron Hardie (BBL|17), Josh Inglis (BBL|15), Matthew Kelly (BBL|15), Lance Morris (BBL|16), Jhye Richardson (BBL|16), Ashton Turner (BBL|18)

Out of contract:
Jason Behrendorff, Sam Fanning, Nick Hobson, Mitch Marsh, Matthew Spoors, Andrew Tye

Hobart Hurricanes list for BBL|15: Iain Carlisle (contracted until BBL|15), Nikhil Chaudhary (BBL|16), Nathan Ellis (BBL|17), Caleb Jewell (BBL|15), Chris Jordan (BBL|15), Ben McDermott (BBL|17), Riley Meredith (BBL|17), Mitch Owen (BBL|17), Matthew Wade (BBL|15), Mac Wright (BBL|15)

Out of contract:
Tim David, Paddy Dooley, Jake Doran, Peter Hatzoglou, Billy Stanlake, Charlie Wakim

Melbourne Stars list for BBL|15: Scott Boland (contracted until BBL|15), Hilton Cartwright (BBL|15), Tom Curran (BBL|15), Glenn Maxwell (BBL|15), Hamish McKenzie (BBL|15), Tom Rogers (BBL|16), Peter Siddle (BBL|15), Marcus Stoinis (BBL|16)

Out of contract: Brody Couch, Sam Harper, Campbell Kellaway, Jon Merlo, Joel Paris, Mark Steketee, Doug Warren, Beau Webster

The rumors that I've read is that Behrendorff is a target for the Gades, and Hobart could be after Webster, with Tim David going the other way. Stars are also pushing hard to get Mitch Marsh

Anyone with Tik Tok, might be worth checking out the SEN channel. They go through the clubs and list whose in and out of contract.
They don't seem to mention 100% of the players, and some contradict what's written above.

TBH, I'm not sure whose the most reliable source. For example, the above seems to say that Renshaw is contracted for BBL14 and beyond - however, on the SEN tik tok, they say he's not contracted.

Incredible really. 0-5 and then win 5 on the bounce to jump into the finals full of momentum. The Stars really need to be so thankful for Maxwell.

After 14yrs probably not..

You would have thought he would have guided them to a title or three by now , with probably better squads in the past. He has thrown his wicket away in the past so many times

They really haven’t done anything yet this year, I think a couple of other sides have gone backwards a fair bit and it is a shortened comp where we almost saw one of two sides make the top 4 , losing more games than they won

Having said all that. Stars win it this year will be something . 8 in a row sudden death games basically

Rumors are that Webster was meant to be going over and David was coming to the Stars

Not sure how reliable that is considering they said the Stars were also after Meredith...and he re signed today

Siddle has re signed for the Stars for another season. Spring chicken will be 41
