Definitely the most interesting outcome. 1 round of fixtures to go with all 8 teams all in finals contention. A few weeks back it felt like a pretty open and shut comp now it’s very even, only 2 teams have a NRR more than .2 either way of 0.

The three potential results from tonight will see this happen:

If the Sixers win, they'll go top. Hobart can reclaim top if they beat the Stars. The Thunder would finish 3rd regardless of other results.

If theres no result, nothing changes. Hobart will be confirmed top of the table, even before they play against the Stars. It would 1) Hobart, 2) Sixers, 3) Thunder,4th) One of the other 5 teams.

If the Thunder win then they'll jump over the Sixers on NRR AND Hobart will be confirmed top. 1) Hobart, 2)Thunder, 3)Sixers, 4) One of the other 5 teams.

I'm (not so) secretly hoping for a Thunder win tonight. Not sure on the forecast

Presuming they would have won those games. Sixers have also had two washouts.

I think it is now the Canes to lose. Sixers game plan is to structure a run chase around an elite bat (Smith or Vince) which they no longer have. I can’t see Paterson being that player. I can’t see them winning 2/3 games with their current side. Bowling stocks are also hurt without Sabba or Speccy. Thunder and Stars have an outside chance with game breakers like Warner and Maxy but are both hit and miss sides that will need to be perfect going forward.
