There are quite a few Pakistan imports here for the Big Bash. Only Haris Rauf has really played like a decent import....the rest of the Pakistan imports have well and truly struggled. A shame to see a once powerful cricket nation struggle.

Speaking of imports, the talent pool has well and truly dropped period. We are only getting imports from second-tier Englishmen, Pakistan, a couple of Kiwis (Munro has totally lost his way now) and some players from second tier nations. West Indians no longer make the trip, South Africans have stopped coming....becoming a sad state of affairs. In saying that, I've enjoyed the Big Bash this season.

There is a ton more t20 leagues around the planet now for players to go to, so difficult to get them for a full BBL season

Adding to that SA and NZ have their own T20 leagues now run at the same time, so harder to get those players over

If we do privatise BBL clubs (looking likely - most likely to india owners), then id expect some quality players playing, including test players and yes test matches will be moved to accommodate BBL uninterrupted. Thats the way I think its heading anyway...
