He did take it well despite the fact your genuine butt hurt was evident. Sorry we can't all follow bandwagon teams and then get on the high horse about said bandwagon team being successful.

We all know Qld is very shit overall at cricket and that is why it took you until 1995 to win your first shield. You wouldn't have even won that if the likes of Taylor, Slater, Waugh, Waugh and McGrath etc weren't off winning more important things. Embarrassing really.

Don't worry mate Sean Abbott won't root your missus anymore he has been told off.

Thats a nice rant. I'm surprised you didnt have a coronary writing that. Some serious anger issues coming out. Hope you had a lie down after that.

Gee i always thought James Hopes had the 'onion head' award covered in the BBL but i think Beers ugly mug has even him covered for bringing tears to your eyes...!

I used to hate KP. I still think he's a wanker, but geez I like watching him play BBL.

Then gets out playing a reverse whatever shot. Good entertainment

Apparently at the end of this season they are going to look into Australian reps being made more available for next Big Bash. If it goes through just give BBL06 to the Sixers now.

the Victorian Stars will just sign the Austraian T20 side again like they did before

Went to the big bash game last night. It was my first experience with the comp as I haven't watched it on TV.

Completely underwhelmed to the point of boredom, left early when the result was foregone. There is no tension or emotional investment in the game whatsoever.

20/20 cricket just is not for me I suppose. If long form cricket dies then so will my interest in the game.

I still say ODI will be the lost one.

The players will want to play tests, to truly test themselves.

Limited over cricket will go from 50 each to 20 each....we are watching this.

Every Big Bash game I have been to has been electric.
The atmosphere is high and people have been on the edge of their seat every ball, even when the game isn't close.

If you compare the three formats of cricket it's unrealistic to expect a close finish, down to the wire contest every game,it's more likely to happen in 20/20 given the short nature of the game then a test match where a strong team has 5 days to dominate a weaker side in a lopsided contest.

Last night wasn't a typical bbl game. Even on tv it was boring.

I've been to one Heat game in each of the last three seasons. All three games went down to the last over. Heat won two, lost one. Very entertaining.

I was very sceptical at first regarding T20, and im a big fan of test cricket. But I've been won over and am massive bbl fan. Once you get used to it, you learn to appreciate the specific skills required in this format.
