90mins wait for a train would be shithouse but so would going to the cricket only to find out the result on the train and probably miss the best bit. Is there anywhere to grab a feed or a few coldies during that 1.5hr wait? Do you even reckon it'll be as bad they reckon?

I got to the stadium at about 1pm, full strength beers available to me in the WACA members.

I heard the media bloke from the Public Transport Authority day it could be up to 2 hours for a train after the event. McGowan is off his head if he thinks people should leave a T20 early.

For sure, if you can only catch 5 overs of a T20 make sure its the last.

Glad the wet blanket back-flipped on locking people out though. You could cop it if it were a "stadium is limited to this capacity until..." but picking and choosing capacity was ludicrous. Let people know the risks (potential 2hr wait) and let them make up their own minds.

Agree 100%. My solution was exactly the opposite of what they’ve been drilling into everyone over here - that you had to get to the ground via public transport.

I work in East Perth so I already know where all the free parking is.
