Apparently because of ICC rules regarding sight screens the Cricket capacity at the new stadium is only 55k.

The transport minister over here announced a cap on the crowd because the semi start time will be the roughly during the peak period in the afternoon and the footbridge that is to take people to the radium won’t be finished until May.

Rightfully so the Government has been hammered and they already looked like backing down the day after the cap was announced.
