Don't worry. If he's in contention for origin he will get picked. Going much better than el masri

Eric's been great but probably hasn't been consistent as someone like El Masri. I'd probably go for El Masri at the moment, but a strong performance this week could score him a gig.

Fair dinkum,

There are four or five goal kickers in that team. El Masri is an average winger.
Its just like when Eric's dad was dropped from the Australian side for Ross Conlon because we needed a goal kicker.

The selectors are fools.

True, selectors can be fools.... but then again Eric has had a pretty up and down season so far.
Maybe they just wanted consistency to be safe.

Eric for Origin if he continues to play well now!!!

Grothe and Richards can have wing spots, i would have to give Dykes the number 6 jersey i guess!

And all of those forwards are being picked on reputation, not on form! i would maybe have room for Skandalis, but not the rest.

Country
1. Ben Hornby
2. Timana Tahu

3. Matt King
4. Matt Cooper
5. Luke Covell
6. Trent Barrett
7. Brett Finch he is unavailable due to suspension! HELLOOO!
8. Jason Ryles <-- didn't actaully play in the test
9. Danny Buderus
10. Luke Bailey
11. Andrew Ryan
12. Glenn Morrison
13. Scott Hill

14. Brent Kite
15. Anthony Tupou
16. Steve Southern
17. Steve Simpson

I would have Stewart at fullback, Amos on a wing (if he is country?) Finch can't play, so put in Head or Withers. Kite and Simpson again being picked on reputation! Put in Matt Adamson and/or Troy Thompson

Grothe not being picked in front of Elmazri is one thing but not being picked in front of LUKE LEWIS is quite simply embarrassing #-o

Everytime I think of Lewis I think of Hindmarsh bumping him onto his arse before going over for a meaty last year at Penrith Stadium.

Worst player to have ever worn a rep jersey!!

Eric hasn't been anywhere near one of the best wingers in the comp this year. He will really need to improve to represent this year.
