I wouldn't exactly call Jamie Lyon a loss, since he hasn't played one game all year. I'd say our biggest loss is Dykes. Even though he hasn't lived up to his reputation, we still don't have a better half for next yr.

Losing Wiki will be a massive short-term loss for Canberra. I don't think the signings of Frawley, Jason Smith, Adamson & some youngsters come close to relieving the effects of wiki, davico & Monas departing the club. The raiders are going to have to rely on some youngsters next season. I just hope Elliott gives them the opportunity to adjust.

Fitler will be a massive loss in the short term for the rorters. More than their supporters realise i think. Oh well, they can always just buy another champion to replace him down the track.

I'd have to say the Dragons biggest loss would be Riddell rather than Kite. Although Kite is a loss, with the young props in Poore and Sims and Bailey returning next year I think his loss is covered.

Riddell however has real impact from hooker or the backrow. The team is better when he is on the field. Michael Ennis has the potential to cover for Riddell's loss, however at this stage I think he is no where near the class of Riddell. Here's hoping that Ennis can achieve such a level.

I have to be honest and say that the Roosters wont go close to winning next year. Overcoming Fittler's absence is definitely the cause. But i have faith in young Brett Firman. I dont believe we are looking for instant success next year anyway, just the gradual buildup from experience will be enough to see this kid shine in the future imo. Especially when Freddy will be personally coaching him ... the sky is the limit for Brett and i think he might be glad the Dragons chose Head over himself. But its not going to happen overnight tho ... and everyone at the Roosters is aware of that. Your "dig" at the Roosters in the second part of that comment doesnt really deserve the light of day, so i wont bother.

Manly haven't lost anyone they didn't want but with a bottom rung side that is not hard. Our best gain will be kennedy, even thou he may miss games because of injury his mentoring of our young pack will be priceless.
