Bill Harrigan has come out of retirement to and will control the Warriors trail game in NZ.

What's everyone make of this?

He's a real trail-blazer. :lol: First referee to come out of retirement.
What about his official job with the NRL?

Doesn't matter much.

IMO its a trial game thats been hastily put together and they needed someone.

Its only a trial, surely there are plenty of young up n coming refs out there that could handle this.....I think there's more to this than nuffin'

Why isnt Finch using the trials to give more young guys experience in games that arent so important>?
Why bring back a retired arrogant upstart?

That is the best thing i have ever read on these forums - and the most accurate.

Obviously there were no lowes ads , speaking engagements, guest spots on TV/Radio, or back page interviews with photos of him on a motorbike in the daily telegraph ... so he needed to get himself out there.

This clown should not be allowed near a media outlet or rugby league field again.

The worst thing in the history of rugby league.

Yes, he's so starved of attention he will referee a trial game between an NRL b-side and a PL b-side at a fan day in Auckland :roll:.
