If BunniesMan is out at 2:30am it isn't his face being punched.

So if you were in that situation you would have done nothing after being punched? No, I suspect you would have hidden under the nearest bed.
Lol. And I'm called soft. Anyone who calls that a punch is soft.

It was a half slap half push. Slater could have killed him. What if the bloke didn't get up when he was knocked down? What if it turned into an all in brawl and Slater copped a glass to the face and lost an eye?

There is no argument that this bloke was wrong for starting it. But that does not justify Slater escalating it. That is how minor incidents spiral into life changing (and sometimes life ending) moments.

Fair chance that you have copped rougher treatment when "paying the rent"

While I don't think Slater should cop any sanctions, I do believe Bunniesman has a valid point. Excuse me while I go and wash. I feel a little dirty.

The thing is, he does have a valid point. Some posters just seemed to have assumed he is talking cr*p (can't see why :sarcasm:).

He was slapped in the face, after a short gap he punched a guy who was smaller than him and who was making no further action to do anything.
This guy could of gone down, or the poor lass he took out could of gone down. He could of had a gang of mates near him and then it would of all gone off.

Stupid by Billy.

Nothing will or should happen from this, as it happens a lot every weekend but the police have said self defence? Rubbish.

lol @ the softcocks still carrying on for slater reacting. the merkin hits him in the head (open hand or not, i'm not sure slater would have known) and slater reacts and you twats carry on about it like he's killing newborns

he had every right to retaliate and i daresay most of us would have reacted in a similar fashion as well

If you push a bloke in the back of the head at 2:30 in the morning, out the front of a night club you're going to have to expect a reaction like that.
Bloke doesn't push Billy -----> Bloke doesn't get punched in the head.

The Slater haters can be spotted a mile off.

I f**king despise the dirty little f**k on the field. The shit he gets away with compared to other players is pathetic but he has done absolutely nothing wrong here and anyone who says that he has is f**king delusional

Remember when Benji got in trouble for pushing the face of that punk who told him to "f*ck off back to NZ you black merkin"...and disrespected his mrs?

A lot of people on here were ripping into him, saying he's the face of the game and he can't be reacting like that etc.

Slater punches a dude (not saying he didn't deserve it) and most people on here defend his actions.

Benji had every right to retaliate. So did Billy.

Slater did the community a public service by giving a violent tosser some much needed karma, and obviously the police, who have to deal with nobs like that day in and day out, felt the same way. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a laugh and shook his hand at the cop station for a job well done.
