Are you part of the Gold Coast club Reefy?

Are you going to be a Titan fan?

You seem to have an in at the place.

I live up here and I'm pretty sure they would want nothing to do with Bird.

They are looking for class players on and OFF he field. and from what I'v heard Bird doesn't really fit the mould.

Are you suggesting he should be called Gold-Tip Titan??

He's a grub. See ya later Bird Brain - ya hack!!!

He's back where he belongs, in 1st grade. Why supercoach replaced him with Mapp is a joke just like the way he coaches.

Bird should be starting and should be captain!!!

Newcastle will grab him back. He will fulfill his potential there and become the very good player he is capable of being.

Everytime I see Bird in Cronulla Mall I feel like assaulting him. A top shelf wanker.

but shouldnt we promote player shuffling, especially at this early stage of the comp?
Bird didnt have a great game, and was dropped. makes sense.
Mapp was given a go, and he didnt perform any better, and the team has changed accordingly.
maybe the problem is who replaced bird, and not that he was replaced.

I wouldn't mind having him at newcastle at the right price, he's a newcastle junior, and grew up there, was also a fine prospect in the SG ball team, also would have strong support network up there.

Mate you're welcome to him, we'll even throw in a free set of steak knives.

You'll find out what they're for after a couple of games.

ima you do not pick a player with his recent issues as a captain. It should take a few years for him to reedeem himself to be considered worthy of the captaincy.

My gut feeling is that he can become a decent NRL player - but I doubt it's gonna happen at the Sharks ub=nder the current coaching/ mgmt regime.

Hope I'm wrong & he ends up a good player for us OR a crap player for Manly

Frenzy.

Bird will NEVER captain Cronulla. His antics have put paid to that. Too much time in the doghouse.
