A busted foot will be good for him - it will mean he WILL have to pass the ball instead of hogging it.

Bird looks to miss the rest of the season according to sky news. Saw Kingston on saturday against the chooks wasn't looking to shabby although as already mentioned the NRL is a completely different competition, although i still wouldn't mind seeing him in a sharks jersey this year.

Greg Bird foot injury Rnd 15 to Indefinite
Cleared of a foot fracture, howevver ligament damage could end his season, further tests this week.

If he's got what is known as a LisFranc injury he'll be wishing he had a fracture. The way he got hurt suggests he may well have a LisFranc. Exactly the right mechanism could be seen when he did it.

They weren't critical at all , obviously commented about some scrappy play in the first half but felt it was more of a confidence thing, they rate the players and were too busy cheering the boys home than to really make much comment on the team, There is certainly no lack of passion in the ex sharkies that's for sure.
