Greg Bird has two years of 1st grade at age 20!That says something in itself. He is a star of the future,no ifs and buts about it.If by the year `2006 we had:
6.Liam Fulton
7.Benji Marshall
13.Greg Bird

We would have the basis of a premiership winning side!

I don't rate him at all.

We are scraping the bottom of the heap now. All the half-decent players have been signed.

Marshall is not a halfback (despiye what people will try to make you believe) and you cant leave Prince out!

I could see:

6. Marshall
7. Prince
13. Bird
14. Fulton

And thats providing Galea works at hooker.

Reynolds could still be good.

He always gets injurred just when finding form, and he was playing well against Manly the day he got injurred.

If he can stay on the field, he could turn out to be a great player for us. I feel the same way about Branighan and Prince. I think thats why we bought all three. One of them is bound to be fit at any one time....

Greg Bird has had 2 or 3 yrs dabbling in first grade now, and I've yet to see a standout performance by him.

He had plenty of potential, but I don't think he's going to make it.

I mean, if he really is close to finding that x factor in form, Sharks wouldn't let him dangle so close to being signed by someone else. You hold onto your promising juniors.

i tjink the sharks were hoping there would be no interest in him and could pay him less then he is worth, but know some clubs have shown interest they have come back with a bigger offer, i think there is more chance of peachy leaving the sharks then bird.
