When it came to old fan passion, the pricks took the best of most during Super League. The bastards on both sides raped the game and destroyed the innocence. If it happens again, that'll wreck what's left. f**kwits.

OK, with that out of the way, it's pretty obvious that the new battlefield is still about broadcasting rights, and SFA to do with the game. Maybe Cronulla can find another opening.

And be wary folks...

''The Australian television viewing landscape is undergoing a transformation''

'Transformation' is just a buzzword for taking money out of your wallets. Ask yourself... do you really need live feeds of the odds while you're at the game? FMD, you can see the game for yourself, right?

There's another battlefield out there, to be sure. The battle to bring people back to Free To Air.

I personally believe that we'll be seeing more rugby league on Free To Air in the future. To make sure of it, we simply have to ditch Foxsports / Pay TV. Vote with your feet.

f**k em Ill keep turning up to watch the Dragons play. I havent had pay TV for 2 years, on principle. And do you know what? I dont miss it.

Anti-siphoning should see that FTA retains some of the footy. Better yet, bring back the ABC Saturday game and drop Monday night footy I say.

yeah...i was watching the China news the other night and Lorrys name was mentioned many times, lol

never liked em..they seem like slimey two faced rats, and whats worse they seem to pay simple minded ppl to do their dirty work and they do it, that mexican mob just reassures me that money is their sole statute,,and they seem not to care how they get it.

I did like the old 12 or 11 Sydney team competition..where we only had to deal with Manly running the game with Rex Mossip and Ron Casey being the main voices of the game.
News as i understand it owns most of Channel nine now..Gould and his mates now are contracted to them...o how times have changed.

I removed Fox months ago.

Typically connected to Telstra so there were a ton of service issues. At one point we were getting charged just under $500 per month. It took me three months to sort it out.

I even bought the right driver ar Jaycar to open the Fox box on the side of my house and take back my cables... adapters and we now have channels galore.

Pretty happy with Optus - phone and internet - a flat rate of $67 for 120g.

I hate Fox but use an IQ box and delay watching for about 20 minutes
I usually catch up by full time or a few minutes before and skip the ads
I also often mute the commentary unless there's something interesting happening
On that subject; does anyone know if digital radio is in sync with TV from a digital feed? I'd listen to Wok and Thirsty but it's always a few seconds ahead of the TV

It's a worrying situation, not sure why it would be so difficult to guarantee no future rebel competitions. Through this entire Commission birthing process the ARL and QRL have been painted as the bad guys. There was never any doubt as to where the real evil lurked.

Evil is the word . After becoming so despised by so many and not getting the total collapse of the ARL that they expected it's beyond strange they'd not rule out doing it all again The whole Fox/News/telecrap empire lacks morality imo .

The thing that proved the stupidity of these guys was the teams that were going to represent the Sydney region Penrith, Canterbury and Cronulla !!! Talk about the fish that John West rejected
