Was at the game today with a Sharks fan and we were saying before the game that whatever happened we both wanted the winner of todays game to go the distance as I have a soft spot for the Sharks and he for the Raiders.

Full-time hooter sounds and he says to me 'I can't go for you, you have Ferguson'.

To which I responded, 'you have Todd f**king Carney playing for you - if either one of us should hate the other it's me'.

Don't be afraid to embrace the lime green bandwagon just because we signed someone you don't like anymore!

Yeah Carney just dragged our club through the headlines time and time again after practically building the club around him and signing him to a massive long-term contract. Then goes to the Roosters and almost single handedly takes them to the GF after all the time and development we put in to him.

Was fergo actually that good yesterday? He scored one good try off a kick (altho he was offside). His other try I could have scored after Stapleton yet again farged up.

He looked a little lost in D at times, we scored two tries down his side of the field.

In saying that I would have him in the team over anyone in our backs, but I think that is more a reflection on how bad they are, not how good he is.

I diid not say that. I said us losing Bird was comparable and it is. Watching Bird run around for the Titans does not sit right. We got signed Carney from the Roosters and he has never came out and shat on either of his old clubs like Blake did while he was still here.

We were on the verge of being bankrupt, lost our coach and Ferguson came out and basically said f**k this place in the media. He kicked a dog while it was down. I can't like any club he is at because of him (though I could get over it if he said sorry and came back - which will never happen)

His comments leaving us were low and disrespectful, no matter your thoughts you don't shit on your club.

He to this day still shits on our club whenever the topic comes up.

He's never tried to come back, he just continued being a fat head prick slandering us whenever the topic arose.

Azzah I was told by somebody with good links his manager had contact with the club about a return. 2 different sources told me this.
So either the administration & the other forum is full of liars, or you are wrong.

I hold virtually no animosity towards Bird or the Titans for what was essentially the same thing as Carney at Canberra.

But Ferguson is my most hated player in the comp due to what he said when he left and what he continues to carry on with to this day.

If it wasn’t for Ferguson I would be absolutely cheering the Raiders from this point but with him they are Fwits that i just cant support.

Sponsorship by the CFMEU doesn’t help either.
