We have one spot up for grabs in the backline with Michael Gordon all but confirmed he is going to the Titans. Ferguson is obviously guaranteed a spot in the backline but should this be on the wing or in the centers?

Personally, I have him in the centers and leave Manu and Robinson to fight it out for the wing spot. His best form in previous seasons has been when placed closer to the action and I think if he can rediscover some form we need his hands on the ball more.

On his day Blake Ferguson is one of the top players, although these are few and far between these days... With one of the top spines in the comp lets hope both he and Mitchell see some early ball and show off their talent.

Ferguson is not as fast as Joseph Manu or Reece Robinson,. So Ferguson should definitely be moved to a centre spot and Manu or Robinson play on the wing.

Manu, to date, is a worse defender than Ferguson. That is why Manu didn't get a look in to the first grade side in the back half of the season. Ferguson's problems are more when he decides to come up and in, as sometimes he misses whiuch leaves his team mate posted defending 1 on 2.

Manu needs to work on his tackling technique and his decision making.

BTW Robinson may not be young but he is still very quick and still looks like a footballer unlike his brother who played for Lebanon.

Blake Ferguson is faster than Manu- Ferguson's speed is underrated. He's had an awesome season so far apart from tonight's game against the Rabbitohs where he came up with a couple of bad plays and was starved of opportunity. To be fair the back 3 (Ferguson, Tedesco & Robinson) all had poor games. As for commitment he's apparently been off the booze since December and will almost certainly represent for NSW in Origin.
