I don't think we "need" him but I wouldn't say no...

tbh it would be a waste of cap space. Mortimer and Hodgo will hopefully be around next year to give Finch competition, so i think we shouldbe ok.

Our number 1 priority is addressing our forwards, it isn't looking too good.

How is Latimore going for Wenty everyone?

Yeah, I'm just wishing lol. And I see your point. However;

-According to the club we have no cap space anyway, so what would he be wasting?
-Following on from point 1...it's obvious the club isn't looking to fix the problem up front any time soon.
-Green does all the things Finch does, but with a kicking and passing game.

Like I said...he wouldn't fix the problem...but he would solve a half/hooker issue. At the moment we're left with Keating and the so far unimpressive Mitchell at dummy half, and Finch backed up by 19 year olds in the halves.

Anyway, I'm only thinking wishfully...

Wentworthville are coming 4th and can't seem to get a player in first grade, clearly Hagan doesn't seem to have a high opion on guys like Latimore, Brod Wright, Jono Wright, Gulavao and Maloney who have all been polaying very well of late.

at the moment, I can't see the point in having them there...

yeah i actuall agree with your assesment about Green, he seemed to look smooth and natural about his passes, kicking and overall game, whilst Finch always seems to look awkard/unorthodox in his play, like he's trying too hard:sarcasm::lol:

Mitchell could still well come good for us people, just remember, how many of us thought Matt Keating was as good as he is? not many.

The reckon maybe the salary cap has something to do with it? because it just seems so bloody stupid having this team when no matter how hard they try they don't get a look in, apart from Lowrie offcourse:lol:

blake green is doing nothing for the sharks...
ricky stupid won't even give him a chance.
now that we have KK Greeny has no room in our team. unless he is happy with a bench position.
he was a big prospect but he chose sticky ricky. unlucky.

If only we would have thrown him the No.6 beside Timmy at the start of last year and given them a season together. They were well suited and Blake really took pressure off Tim because he offered more in playmaking than Finch.

With the news this afternoon that Brett Seymour has buggered his knee and is out for the season, and Bird in the dog house - will Blakey get a run ?

the absence of Green for the Cobras last week is one of the main reasons why we won so easily. he tore us a new a few weeks ago.

There are thoughts that he is one of those players that stand out in reggies, and doesn't take it all to the next level. Not my thoughtss , from someone I speak to from time to time in the know

We need Green back for a couple of reasons. Firstly he is handy and if he developes into his full potential he will be a strong first grader. Secondly, he would be a great club man. He loves (or loved) the Eels.
Also he is better than Mortimer - who I dont rate and Hodgkinson is on his bike. Albert Kelly is too young to know for sure. Essentially, we have no depth in the halves at all.
