Let's hope that Wolfe does a much better job as a defensive coach this your than his predecessor. We need a coach that can work on individual defensive skills in addition to collective player defensive skills. Sometimes I wonder what was done in this area last season.

Bloody nothing is what I think. Playing league is not only all about attack and scoring tries, it is about defending against opposing teams to prevent them scoring. Stop them and there is more of a chance of winning. The attack by the Dragons was not much chop either as the opposing teams ability to defend against us was much better.

Our guys would have learnt how to tackle during the time they were growing up and playing in development grades. A good defensive coach needs to be a good manager of the players to ensure that their positive attitude towards the rigours of defending is planted firmly in their minds - play as a team and defend at all cost.

Woolfe appears capable to get the guys fully committed to being a good defensive side - I'm hoping so anyway.
