Henson Park is undergoing a facelift Moffo. There will be a new Henson Park because the old one is worse than Redfern Oval. Unfortunately, all the history of the current Henson Park will be scrapped unless someone wants to copy all the posts and enter them in the new forums but I think that is unlikely.

I haven't really taken much notice and am feeling a bit inquisitive.

Are there parameters other than it being about 500 words? Can it be about an experience that involved League rather than just a history lesson type essay?

Its a 750 word limit but no one has ever been penalised for going under.
Essays only have to be League related... doesnt have to be history related at all... thats just what I write about.

There's been some debate about allowing works of fiction. I think Goz can fill you in there.

Not my cup of tea then. The essays I saw seemed.... well......how can I be diplomatic...tired, unemotional stuff (As diplomatic as I can be). As readable as any news report.

I'm with you on that one EA. I'll certainly remember that.
Its early days though. It varies depending on the week.

But seeing youre being a little inquisitive, you'd probably enjoy the NRL wrap for round 3 on League Unlimited.

I wrote 650 words during a quiet hour at work yesterday, but i'll need to think a bit to work out how to finish it off in another 100 words.

If only I knew I was going to be the skipper this week I'd have been on here rounding up the troops like no tomorrow. As it turned out I had to rely on an email from Willow to even know what was going on!

O.K. so I've been slack and haven't been keeping in touch with forum activity of late. However I like to look at it by comparing myself to Steve Waugh. After having a nice little rest, I have come to take over from One-Day International skipper Willow now that the real stuff is starting!

I'll be posting this week, don't you worry about that. And it won't just be the fact that we are turning up that will show how serious our dedication is, but the quality of our posts - which requires more than just a passing interest, but a passion for success...

We will fight them on the beaches...
