Bluebags versus Rabbitohs

Souths only lost to Parra last weekend by two points. Jets almost remaining in equal first place. Think Parra have some injuries though, but goes to show Souths cannot be taken lightly.

Jets have only played Souths twice since year 2000 in Premier league, both games taking place last season. As memory serves we led both games from the start right up to the last five minutes, with Souths beating us by two points on the bell in both games.

Realise we have a much better side now, but fingers are crossed we dont suffer any injuries in the residents game on wednesday night.

Hope THOMMO will be making a return, does anyone know what is doing. Originally was told he would only be out for one game and has been missing for weeks now. ??????????

Think Phil was injured in 1sts against Broncos and Dykes was limping with an ankle injury ??? This could be an issue for the Jets team lineup. !!??!!.

In any case Souths must have played well last week against the competition leaders, and this will be a tough game regardless of result.

Can someone post the line-up for the fans.

GO YOU MIGHTY BLUEBAGS.....

With Cronulla playing Souths I thought this was a chance for Raper to have a go experimenting with Merritt. Oh well - our gain!

Cant figure why he hasnt. Maybe his defence is what the worry is. It is the only area where he could still improve, and defence is a big thing for a fullback. ( What about the wing though )....

Forgot. What was the score in the resident cup game. How did the boys go. No injuries at all ???

Also Bluebag, how long will Cliff and Thommo be out for. Are the innuries serious.

Also heard that DUMAS has been sold by the Sharks and wont be back. Is this true, and that he is now playing for Roosters....

Also heard we are lucky not to have lost more. Maybe Jets can look forward to playing against LOMU and DUMAS in the semi's.

Wonder if Sharks have bought anyone with the freed up money. Sharks fans on their forum dont know of ANY new signings at all so far.

Can we expect any replacements appearing in the Bluebags jersey prior to the completion of the 2005 season to replace the players that have now ( so far ) left. Will anymore be going prior to seasons end.

Hope Col can counter that kicking behind the defence tactic, otherwise were are FARKED.....leading by 18 points only halfway through the first half thought it was going to be a cricket score. Then everyone goes to sleep. Worst game of the year. Defence was non existant for the last hour. Absolute shocker.

well it ended up 43-36 to souths juniors, i supose Merritt was the only shining light for the jets, and with raper saying changers are needed for next week i hope merritt gets his shot, he scored 3 tries and kicked 4 goals

I hope Meritt gets chosen next week... Covell had an absolute shocker, we need a better goal kicker...

that said, I'm going to Toyota next weekend to see them play, and I'll be yelling, with whatever voice I have left after this week

thats the thing that i found with merritt on saturday, he's attacking form was awesome but his defensive effort was poor, but i would still love to c him in 1st grade

Think that is the only reason he is not Sharkie. Definately could make an impact on the wing though I reckon, although he has to improve on the tackling game.

With Cliff out injured ( HOW LONG FOR ????? ) and Stevens looking at another holiday after the spear tackle, Stosic will probably step up again next week. We really missed some impact in the forwards last Saturday, things are looking kinda scarey.

How did the Beam boys go on the weekend ???

Will Cliff be back, How serious is the injury ???

Merritt has had some big defensive lapses this year. I didn't go on Saturday but it sounds like this was another one.

I'm so gutted. With Parra losing this game was a real chance for the Jets to close the gap and hearing the score at 28-10 I was real excited.

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!

Newcastle @ Shark Park next week makes me nervous.
