Oh yeah, but this isn't Mullen's fault. Graham Murray didn't buy him the right boots, so his kicks were off...and enthusiasm? Well obviously Graham Murray didn't give a good enough speech at half-time.Snoop Shark said:The kicking game really fugged us! QLD were kicking deep in between mini and the wingers, whilst mullen was kicking....well straight to cutie....Not to mention their chase on the kicks were much more enthusiastic then ours
Rep squads assembled in a week are no reflection on the coach...the coach can do all he can to try and prepare the squad for the game, but come game time the players will play what they're used to. The side was pretty much the same side as usual, the only key difference being Mullen. I really don't think you can blame a poor performance on Graham Murray...like I said before, it was only a brain snap and a field goal difference...Queensland dominated and by all rights should have thrashed us...but as far as the scoreboard is concerned, there was nothing in it.
If we went on to tough out a win, would Murray still be a sh*t coach? It's tough enough being a club coach, but forget Origin...who'd want to coach in a series where your performance is judged on one game?
