Is anyone else praying that he finally wins a WWE world championship at GAB. He is probably the most deserving on the roster of it and it would be fantastic - he's been goin on for about 5 years about being the 5-time(etc) champ. Should've happened at WM XIX though.

he was top of his league in WCW but in the big sh*t he is nothing more then a upper mid carder IMO

Booker's deserving. He nearly carried WCW at the end.

He's a phenomonal competitor, great tag team wrestler, established himself in a singles career, charismatic and can tell a story in the ring.... Don't hate the player, hate the game.

well you'd think that summerslam would be booker vs batista considering the whole summerslam commercial "shoot" fight which turned out to apparently be a work.

The King Booker gimmick is awsome. I didn't think it would of suited him, but I was sooo wrong.

I think at SS we will see a triple threat for the title with Booker vs Batista vs Rey.

This ended up being one of the reasons WCW died. Too little value held in their titles. At one stage, the World Title changed five times in a month. Three times on one Nitro if memory serves me correct. And then, a movie actor gets it, a non-wrestling booker gets it... it became a sham.

In my eyes, Rey's done a top job, give it onto Booker, and let him hold it for.... get this, 6 months. Make the World Champion top dog again. And whatever they do, don't bring Triple H to their show so he either

A) Politics his way to the belt
B) Politics his way to the main event leveraging the World Title as nothing more than a midcard belt, ala as he did when Chris Benoit won the title

Booker T is good enough to hold it for a considerable period of time, I'd go as far as to say he'd have held it more times and for longer periods if not for the colour of his skin.

I haven't seen any WWE in about six weeks, but I've always been a bit of a fan of Booker T. He was getting a bit vanilla at the end of his old 'gimmick' but I think him at the top would be good. Whilst Rey vs. Batista has its merits, I prefer a more traditional 'heel vs. babyface' feud.

Rey's been good, but Booker T has far more ability to carry a feud both match-wise (which Rey has) and charisma/promo-wise.

I'm glad to see him get one last run at the top, this time last year he was boring the sh*t out of me, his feud with Benoit has put him on to bigger and better things.
