Sloan should go the same route as Quinlan and Dufty, over to Super League. He will realize success over three.cant see anyone teaching Sloane, even the wizard of oz cant give him a heart

Dean Young's father and Peter Doust are the prime backroom deal makers and still have influence over the BOD. It seems to me that a deal has been made to promote D Young to NRL head coach. It is just a matter of time.Head coach is responsible for everything
If he doesnt think Young is up to it sack him
Because they didn't want Dean Young to fail and knew he wasn't ready at the time. I imagine that now they want Flanno to build a strong team and then let Dean to take over with a better opportunity for success. That was the reaction, but I still argue its unfounded. Why didn't they put him in instead of Griffin? Why didn't they put him in instead of Flanagan?
Well in that case it would be the first sign of proactivity in the club for a decade. I still don't buy it though - the club have had ample opportunity to put him in that position and haven't done so.Because they didn't want Dean Young to fail and knew he wasn't ready at the time. I dont see Flannagan Been a better Coach ATM, unless he ditches his son and concentrates on creating a top 4 team.Dean Young's father and Peter Doust are the prime backroom deal makers and still have influence over the BOD. Ofcourse flano wasn’t even there tonight, how pathetic for me too think he is the head coachBad smell that never leaves like his dad . That was so embarrassing 56 . 6 defence stinks
Fair dinkum, some other posters were talking up last week that we had the least amount of missed tackles in the comp. I guess that sort of stat has nothing to do with DY as defensive coach but the next week when we get done by 50, sack DY!You kidding
The guy has Been part of the Stateof origin coaching staff for two years in a row that won the series last year and is 1-0 up this year
So while one bloke is in the box learning from the elite like Bellamy the other is watching the game from his lounge chair
You tell me what Flano is head coach for?
No more to be said

This is actually incorrect that Dean Young was a part of last years state of origin high performance coaching staff. It says on the NSW RL website that it was John Cartwright, Matt King and Brett White with Michael Maguire. Even though he might be a part of Laurie Daley’s team now why wouldn’t all of what Dean Young has been exposed to in the representative arena been translated to our defensive structures at the Dragons? I understand we have a lot of youngsters in our squad that are learning but we also have several senior players that could be influenced by Dean Young’s experience and position of defensive coach within the NSW team. Before Dean left the Cowboys in 2023 where he was the defensive coach the Cowboys finished 11th and there for and against was 546 for and 542 against. So Dean Young can’t take any credit for last years SOO series win and to suggest Dean had an impact on the game a week and a half ago is a stretch. The majority of players for NSW this year were picked from last year’s squad and won the first game due to their experiences together from last year’s series. You kidding
