In the 2005 grand final, 3 of Wests' tries were scored by props (Laffranchi, Gibbs and Payten). Gibbs and Payten were both off the bench though.

I cant remember a big game where both props scored. Struggling to remember a big game where one scored TBH. Fui in the 09 gf for example. A scan of the more prominent props of recent years - Petero, Bailey, Fui, Webcke, Scott, Shreck, White, Ryles et al - not too many tries scored among that lot.

I'm guessing some of the 50 point floggings might contain such a phenomenon.

Found one. Round 11 2007. Broncos 71 Knights 6. Petero and Ben Hannant both scored.

Also, Round 10 2009. Saints 20 Dogs 18 Weyman and Poore. Hannant also scored for the Dogs. 6 tries, 3 by props.

I remember Mark Taufua and Richie Fa'aoso got a try each inside the first 10 minutes against Manly in 2009 at Bluetongue, both were the starting front rowers iirc.

It was probably the only thing worth remembering about the game from a Knights fans perspective, we got flogged!
