Sonny Bill Williams' beaten opponent, Francois Botha, has returned a positive drugs test following Friday night's controversial fight.
A urine sample taken from on the eve of the bout revealed two banned substances in the South African's his system.
The substances are reported to be a stimulant, believed to assist with appetite suppression and fast reflexes, and a muscle relaxant with qualities similar to valium.
The fight had already been described as a farce after it was reduced from 12 rounds to 10 during the boxing match.

I take it you didnt read the reports, pouring cold water over the situation. John Hogg from ANBF, has come out and said that that (ASADA) have never tested in Queensland in gyms or on fight night.

The two Drugs in Question are Phentermine and Benzodiazepine, taking both would cancel each other out, or more or less just be plain stupid.

It would be like a Trucker taking ADHD Pills then Some Sleeping Pills

not really... as soon as the news came out that hes tested positive it sounded dodgy...

Drugs test results usually don't come out for 2-3 weeks.

the UFC did an event in Queensland on 15/12 and the test results came out on 10/01.

yet the SMH get Botha's result in less than a week?? :lol:

talk about a deflection... :lol:

The best rumour today on Foxsports stating that the drugs tests were administered by a relative of Khoder Nasser.

You couldn't make this stuff up. Boxing is a bigger melodrama than Home & Away!
