Qld need to take a serious look at theirs. Paul Bowman is a honest, "defensive" player at best. Ty Williams failed to make much of an impression. Berrigan was poor. They all got brused aside defending on their goal line icluding Lockyer. Thurston does not have the talent of Prince or maybe Tim Smith next season. Matt Sing is the only one question marks dont hang over.

Massive Problems for QLD.

Berrigan deserves nothing, he was useless in the Tri-Nations too.

I've said it before, without Lockyer the bloke is a nuffy and Lockyer doesn't perform at five-eighth in Origin. Berrigan is very overrated, and this series has shown that.

Berrigan was our problem. The blues scored the majority of the tries in the series through him and lockyer. It was almost as easy as getting in the 10 metre zone and running at berrigan and you get a try.

Maybe it will be a Tonga/Hodges centre pairing next year. Bowman/Berrigan just didn't cut it this year.

I think Matt Sing may hang up his rep boots next season, so my 1-7 would be....

1. Bowen
2. Schifcofske
3. Hodges
4. Tonga
5. Slater
6. Lockyer
7. Prince/Smith

Queensland have not won a series - bar Langer's return, in years. NSW have won 3 straight, and before that Queensland drew 2 to retain the shield.

In that time they have made some stupid decisions from a team with the smallest pool.

The used Steve Price far to late in his career.

They never used Clinton Schifcofske in a fair dinkum way.

They have favoured average Broncos back rowers over better performed players fromother clubs. This year may have been different with a healthy influx of Cowboys (although only Webb in the forwards. Tonie Carroll? Biggest bag of wind since the invention of Bagpipes. Even Petero - what does he offer apart from honest toil?

You know the funny thing - if Noddy Kimmorley was a Queenslander, he's be the first picked for the Maroons.

Bowen was good...

Be interesting, Bennett will stick with his favourites and they will do ok against NZ and GB, but let's be honest - every single one of then were shown up badly in the origin series.. To borrow from Allan Langer - "Queensland can't play!!" lol
