Meyers was selected for his outstanding Origin series (he was actually man of the series IIRC), while Carlaw is an example of why teams should never be chosen purely on form.

That's what I thought, but since people have named him second row I thought he might have been becoming a specialist there. You need about 17 first grade standard blokes, so another prop won't hurt.

And then I guess about 8 other up and comers in reserve for use during the year. Will there a feeder team or PL side or anything like that?

He's been ok for Bradford especially when attacking down our left side. He never quite hit the heights that Danny Gartner or Brad Mackay did for us but he's been alright.

He's a much better second rower.
