I think McDaniels is way over his head, you can maybe give him the benefit of the doubt with the Cutler issue but this just shows that his people management skills are poor to say the least. That Denver O was firing on all cylinders last season, all he had to do was go in there and fix the defense, instead he's tried to put his stamp on the team and they are going backwards...

100% correct.

The Broncos as a whole have screwed themselves though. Do they want to keep him? Well than re-do his current 4th round rookie deal because he's certainly proven he's worth alot more than that. He might want to sit out the rest of the season as it means he won't get hurt and he'd still have a fat contract next season.

If you have a player who doesn't want to play for you, you need to get rid of him. He will be a cancer to the football team.

was thinking to myself as watching that video that if i had picked up Marshall in a fantasy comp, you'd be preying to god he gets traded. If McDaniels and the organisation hold firm, he'll sit out and that would not be good for fantasy team owners with him.

However if he gets drafted, he'll all the better for it. My tip is Dallas. Roy E isnt a 1st. Nice 2nd though to Marshall

I laugh at people saying McDaniels is an idiot and has poor people management skills as if they are involved at training.

The two issues at Denver this off season have been Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall.

1) Jay Cutler - well recognised and reported as an absolute douche bag. I cannot believe he can claim that he has the best arm in the league and is better than John Elway after accomplishing nothing. There was a report by Adam Schefter (I think) that stated that many in the team were happy to see the back of him.

2) Brandon Marshall - watching that video and seeing the numerous off field incidents make you wonder where this guys head is at. It is laughable that he is asking for a trade in the last season of his contract, the way he is handling himself now and the way he has handled himself off the field. If I were coach, I would not want him on my team.

As another poster pointed out, last season the Broncos were absolutely terrible in a terrible division. McDaniels made the right moves in the off season (Moreno will be a gem) to improve the team and will be in a good position to trade up and select a Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford next year.
