The NRL are no longer interested in sanctions for players without allowing them to defend themselves first. Unless it meets a certain threshold and they have enough evidence to run with it.

I feel like "recreational" drugs are one of those issues where being partisan helps no-one.

We either turn a blind eye / slap with a wet lettuce everyone involved - as the NRL has done in the past - or come down hard and start deregistering guilty parties for 12+ months.

The NRL can keep ignoring how vast of a problem it is, or come down hard, deregister any player involved, and draw a line in the sand.
