Well from an outsiders pov, if Fitzy was not there last night it may have gone to plan and we would not be having this discussion.
It maybe that just one person is the problem but some one who attended may be able to shed more light on the matter, was he just there to disrupt of did he have some other agenda ?
Did he make peoples minds up for them ?
Would things have gone to plan if he was not there ?
Appreciate any feedback.
Hard to say Twiz
What Dennis was actually saying was correct, if this passed there would of been a case made against the board cause it did not meet the regulations.
Even Chris Jurd mentioned the same thing and he is a lawyer and was the clubs lawyer many years ago.
Fitzy successful help campaign the current board into power so he wouldn't have an agenda so to speak I believe. He simply was pointing out the facts that these motions have not been actioned correctly in accordance to the Acts and laws and whatever there are in place and this could come back to bite them on the bum.
The motions were very vague, they didnt have enough details and Dennis helped members in clear and simple terms that we as the members should be made aware of exactly why these motions are up and what it means to put these motions in.
With all the people who got up to say something whether it was in regards to the financials, memberships, motions, etc It was a very poor reflection on the organisation.
I cant recall any members getting up on the microphone and actually supporting the motions. That is fact.
